IPX waterproof grade standard (level 0-8)
The international industrial waterproofing standard IPX is consistent with the Japanese industrial waterproofing standard JIS, divided into 9 levels from 0 to 8, which are recorded here.
Level 0 no protection
Level 1 eliminates the harmful effects of vertically falling water droplets
Level 2: Protective against water droplets falling within 15 degrees from the vertical direction
Level 3 Can eliminate the harmful effects of spray water droplets at a vertical direction of 60 degrees
Level 4 eliminates the harmful effects of water droplets flying from different directions
Level 5 can eliminate the harmful effects of water jets from nozzles in all directions.
Level 6 can eliminate the harmful effects of powerful jets of water from nozzles in all directions.
Level 7 Top distance from water surface - 1 meter, continuous operation for 30 minutes, performance is not affected, no water leakage
Level 8 Top distance from water surface - 30 meters, continuous operation for 60 minutes, performance is not affected, no water leakage
