After 2 days of long inspection and audit by relevant staff, our factory was re-certified and passed the new ISO9001:2015 certification, and reached industry level B.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It is part of the ISO 9000 family of standards, which is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to their products or services.
Key principles of ISO 9001:2015 include:
- Customer Focus: Organizations are required to understand and meet customer requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Leadership: Leadership plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the QMS within the organization.
- Engagement of People: Involving and empowering employees is essential for the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Process Approach: Managing activities and related resources as processes helps achieve desired outcomes more efficiently.
- Improvement: Continuous improvement is a fundamental principle, encouraging organizations to enhance their performance over time.
- Evidence-Based Decision Making: Decisions within the organization should be based on the analysis and evaluation of data and information.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and other relevant parties is emphasized.
ISO 9001:2015 follows a structure known as the High-Level Structure (HLS), which is a common framework shared by many ISO management system standards. This facilitates easier integration when implementing multiple management systems.
Organizations can seek certification to ISO 9001:2015 through an accredited certification body, demonstrating their commitment to quality management and adherence to the standard's requirements. Certification provides assurance to customers and stakeholders that the organization has implemented effective quality management practices.
